"Show me a hero; and I'll write you a tragedy." -F. Scott Fitzgerald

Hero and Villain.
Good and Evil.
Love and Hate.

Would that the world were that simple. Nothing is ever simple in a world filled with superheroes and villains. She may not wear a cape or have superpowers, but no one would say Joanna Fallon isn't a hero. At great personal cost she's saved the city of Galilee Falls from two supervillains, but has finally found a measure of peace. But whatever rises often falls, and even the city's champion may not be able to fight the cataclysm about to befall not only her city but the whole of the world...or even want to.

Read the conclusion to the critically acclaimed Galilee Falls trilogy from the imagination of the IPPY award winning author Jennifer Harlow.

Jennifer Harlow sure knows how to bring out the emotion. Make sure to have a box of tissues on hand because your heart will break multiple times in FALL OF HEROES.

Joanna has a really tough time in FALL OF HEROES. She has her heartbroken by lies, pretty much falls apart, builds herself back together only to be betrayed by another and then saves the day (and lots of lives) with her allies. I am not sure I could have pulled myself out of the tailspin that Joanna was in, but she did it and came out stronger and determined.

The romance is a bit crazy in FALL OF HEROES. Everyone involved makes a lot of mistakes that blows their lives out of the water, but I think in the end Joanna is with who she is supposed to be with.  Joanna grew up loving Justin and they will always be soulmates, but Jem and her really compliment and complete each other. It was difficult watching Joanna go through what these two put her through and I am glad in the end that they were all able to be there for each other.

This series has been jam-packed with action, danger and interesting circumstances. The characters were a huge part of what made this series a hit and I thought FALL OF HEROES was the perfect ending to the Galilee Falls series. I am sad to see it go, but so happy with the way things were wrapped up.

I gave it 4/5 stars
